Competition Details

• Work with a supporting agronomist;
• OCGA encourages all canola farmers to submit an “Intent to Participate” via the options below:
  • Online Form
    • Winter Canola Online Form
    • Spring Canola Online Form
  • MS Word Forms (Complete the form then email to ryan@ontariocanolagrowers.ca:
    • Winter Canola by June 30, 2024- Intent to Participate form- click here
    • Spring Canola by August 31, 2024- Intent to Participate form- click here
• Minimum 10 acre canola plot;
• Record yield from 1 acre of your field. Must be recorded by weigh wagon and verified by your supporting agronomist.
• Submit your cropping and yield information on “Canola Challenge Results”:
  • Winter Canola by Aug 31, 2024;- Final Results form- click here
  • Spring Canola by Oct 11, 2024.- Final Results form- click here

Winter Canola Winners Receive:

• 1st place winner – $2,000 cash
• 2nd place winner – $1,000 cash
• 3rd place winner – $ 500 cash
